Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Assistant Professor in Epidemiology or Biostatistics at the School of Public Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct applied and methodological work in epidemiological and/or statistical research
  • Work with a large population-based cohort with over 46,000 participants in 20,000 households
  • Conduct power/sample size estimation, generate tables and figures for reports and presentations, and write scientific publications, grant proposals, and reports
  • Assist in general administrative, operational, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree by research (Ph.D., D.Sc., Dr.P.H. or equivalent) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related disciplines
  • Strong quantitative background and experience in analyzing epidemiological data using R, STATA, SAS, or other statistical packages
  • Demonstrated expertise in the analysis of large and complex datasets, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in longitudinal analyses, multilevel modeling, data visualization, and state-of-the-art statistical and epidemiological models
