Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth in ocean freight services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and prospecting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client solutions and delivery of exceptional service.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Requirements
- A proven track record in business development within the ocean freight industry, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- A strong understanding of the Dutch logistics market and ocean freight sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in Dutch and English (both written and verbal).
- The ability to work independently with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
