Hotel Compliance Specialist

As a key member of the central services team at citizenM, you will play a vital role in supporting the Hotel Operations team to achieve compliance in the domains of Risk Management & Operational Compliance. This will involve researching, proposing, and implementing best practices aimed at creating a safe environment for our employees and guests, while ensuring internal and legal compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze applicable regulations and best practices in the domain of Health & Safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and records using our software to demonstrate the hotels' compliance with laws and regulations
- Track and audit the hotels' compliance with policies and procedures of citizenM
- Support the area managers in maintaining valid operating permits
- Develop and implement Safety & Security awareness communications
- Prepare reports, analyses, and statistics to update senior management on the hotel's safety and security performance
Requirements:
- Available for six or more months
- A student enrolled at a university or HBO studies during the entire duration of the internship
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English, spoken and written. Additional language skills are well accepted
