Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at The Hoxton. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued, and that their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Team Management: Coach and mentor our front desk team to ensure that they are providing excellent service and meeting our high standards.
  • Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including managing the front desk team, handling guest complaints, and ensuring that all hotel procedures are followed.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the front desk team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a front office or hotel operations role, preferably in a similar hotel environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other hotel departments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Education: A degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Certifications: Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar property management system experience is required. Health and Safety procedures experience is also required.
