About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our Ingka Group Corporate and M&A team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal advice and support on all aspects of M&A projects, including review, drafting, and negotiation of transaction documents and internal decision-making documents. You will also provide legal support on various corporate matters, such as corporate governance and structuring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial, strategic, and solution-driven legal advice and support on all aspects of M&A projects
  • Network and create strong relationships with stakeholders in Ingka Group and external counsels to maximize knowledge sharing
  • Keep track of emerging trends, legal technologies, regulations, and industry practices and facilitate understanding across the organization of the impact of such legislation and regulations
  • Support all of Ingka Group's businesses on corporate matters, with a focus on global M&A projects in various business areas relevant for IKEA's growth and ambitions
Requirements
  • Senior experience in (Dutch) Corporate Law and M&A, gained through +7 years working experience in a law firm (some in-house experience is also appreciated)
  • Fluent in English (verbally and in writing) with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels with different stakeholders
  • Accurate and solution-driven legal business partner with sound judgment and understanding of business needs and strategic drivers
  • Down-to-earth, flexible, hands-on, pro-active, and has a get-the-job-done mentality
  • Genuine team player, who can also work independently
  • Open to travel occasionally
