Your Profile

To excel in this position, you should possess a robust understanding of financial and accounting operations, cost factors, and the effective utilization of service delivery, along with the commercial implications of technical choices.


You should hold formal qualifications in finance, accounting, or information technology.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive and varied experience in the financial sector, driving technological transformation, managing requirements, and leading diverse digital initiatives is essential.


You should have a strong capability to capture, interpret, and convert business needs into IT solutions.

Your innovative mindset, combined with the ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving technology landscape, will be crucial.

You may identify with the following qualifications:

- Proven experience as a business analyst within the finance and accounting sector
- Solid understanding of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with digital solutions that support financial and accounting functions, such as MS Dynamics or SAP Hana
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and requirements management tools
- Understanding of industry best practices in requirements gathering, documentation, and validation
- Proficiency in analyzing intricate business processes, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions that align with business goals
- Comprehension of information technology concepts, systems, and terminology to effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Ability to develop and execute testing plans to ensure that implemented solutions meet specified requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to create clear and comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and process documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide high-quality insights and ensure a relevant strategy and roadmap for the area based on user needs, the latest technologies, and best practices.


Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting planning, analysis, requirements definition, functional/technical design, testing, and implementation of relevant technology/platforms.

- Developing a comprehensive understanding of existing financial solutions, processes, and tools within IKEA's technology-process-delivery ecosystem, evaluating various options to design and develop holistic solutions.


- Creating, maintaining, and promoting the digital roadmap for your area in alignment with organizational strategy

- Assessing and recommending technologies, tools, and platforms that can be utilized to implement proposed solutions, considering factors such as cost, scalability, security, and compatibility with existing systems.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to solution development.

- Engaging and working closely with stakeholders, including subject matter experts, solution and technical architects, project managers, and end-users, to gather and comprehend requirements and challenges.


In this position, you will report to the INGKA Investments Digital Technology Manager.
