Overview


ING, a leading financial institution, is seeking an exceptional Data Driven Business Strategist to join our team in the Netherlands. This role presents a unique opportunity to leverage data insights and drive business growth while contributing to the company's ambitious goals.



About the Role


We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in data mapping, preferably with experience in data migrations and Safe Business (SBO) fields such as PEARL, Compliance, IRM, and ORM. As a Data Driven Business Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering insights via reports to Business Banking on how to grow the business.



Responsibilities



  • Lead a team of data analysts and SBOs working in multiple squads
  • Develop and deliver strategic plans to maximize business value through data-driven decision-making
  • Prioritize the product backlog, focusing on delivery through collaboration and effective stakeholder management
  • Steer strategy and realization based on facts and data, with managerial courage to question and make decisions
  • Ensure adherence to Process Control Standards and build the craftsmanship of employees in line with the strategy of the Tribe and Area


Requirements



  • Masters degree
  • 3+ years' experience in managing teams made up of specialists in their field
  • Extensive and relevant work experience within data mapping, data migrations, and SBO fields
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze developments and translate them into possible risks and mitigating measures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to develop a vision and translate complex matters into an easy-to-follow storyline
  • Impact & Ownership: able to take responsibility and make decisions in a decisive and result-oriented way
  • Strong connector with experience working with multiple experts in a wide stakeholder field


Benefits


As a Data Driven Business Strategist at ING, you can expect:



  • A competitive salary of €85,000 - €105,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • A 12-month contract with potential extension
  • A 36 or 40-hour workweek
  • Individual leave: 24+2 individual holiday days based on a 36-hour workweek
  • Diversity leave: 3 days per year (1.5 paid, 1.5 unpaid)
