Job Summary

As a Service and Support Engineer at Yokogawa, you will be the first point of contact for our customers regarding system queries. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain customer systems to be reliable and ready 24/7. This involves implementing modifications to customer systems in a live environment, coordinating and verifying work prepared by our engineering centers in Romania and India, and monitoring service requests placed by customers. You will also be responsible for reporting to internal and external customers about the technical state of their systems and supporting them with technical questions or upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain customer systems to be reliable and ready 24/7
- Implement modifications to customer systems in a live environment
- Coordinate and verify work prepared by our engineering centers in Romania and India
- Monitor service requests placed by customers and ensure progress is made
- Report to internal and external customers about the technical state of their systems
- Support customers with technical questions or upgrades

Requirements

- Ideally around 2 years of experience in a technical environment where you worked with control solutions
- MBO / HBO in process automation/control, mechatronics or equivalent
- Experience with PLC programming
- Willingness to travel within the Netherlands
- Driving License B and willingness to work away from home
- Self-motivated in solving problems and searching for new knowledge
- Good communication in Dutch and English
- Interest in high tech control solutions like DCS, ESD, IIoT, OPC and IT/OT technology
