Key Account Manager Flavor

At International Flavors & Fragrances, we are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager Flavor to join our team in the Benelux region. As a Key Account Manager Flavor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key regional and local flavor accounts, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer relationships and achieve profitable sales growth
- Optimize order patterns for customers and IFF
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage quotes and pricing negotiations
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate with customer service and operations departments
- Cooperate with operations to manage order-related customer inquiries and complaints
- Responsible for achieving growth targets and managing relationships between customer functions and IFF
- Work in line with IFF and Benelux strategy and take ownership of core teams
- Provide information necessary for account service, including presentations, customer visits, and ordering samples
- Manage project pipeline and accurate use of project management system
- Develop account plans for key accounts and attend category team meetings
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or food technology
- 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business sales management, preferably in the food ingredients/flavors industry
- Relevant work experience in flavors and food markets
- Strategic thinking, strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch, with additional languages an advantage
- Good listener, open personality, and flexible approach
- Ability to create strong relationships with customers and translate customer needs into solutions
- Short-term result-driven and keeping long-term goals in mind
- Well-organized and excellent computer skills (MS Office)
