Position Overview

IC Resources is seeking a Head of Digital Design to spearhead their growing electronics design division. This role is pivotal in advancing technologies within the rapidly evolving field of Quantum Computing, which is poised to make significant societal impacts globally.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Establish and lead the digital design team, overseeing the complete RTL roadmap and lifecycle.
  • Ensure that product quality and delivery milestones are consistently met.
  • Report directly to the CTO, engaging in both technical and managerial aspects of the department.
  • Manage the budget for the digital department and actively participate in the recruitment process.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve team efficiency.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A robust background in ASIC/FPGA development, particularly with RTL development expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership roles.
  • A proven track record in team recruitment and development, ideally within a scale-up context.
  • Exceptional communication and strategic leadership capabilities.
Preferred Experience

Familiarity with any of the following areas would be advantageous:

  • PCIe/Ethernet technologies
  • Digital signal processing methodologies
  • Processor design principles
  • Multi-gigabit DACs and ADCs
