We're looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Plant Manager at Uniper's Maasvlakte Power Plant in the Netherlands. As a key member of our Flexible Energy Steam & Biomass Fleet, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our operations.


About the Role
  • Develop and implement strategies for the optimal utilisation of available resources
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and employee engagement
  • Identify, mitigate and resolve potential risks to achieve exceptional operational performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government agencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and achieve organisational goals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, focusing on development and succession planning
  • Drive business growth through strategic decision-making and creative problem-solving

Requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and achieving desired outcomes
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Demonstrated expertise in energy operations, including generation, transmission, and distribution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multinational environment
