We are seeking a highly skilled Werkvoorbereider Civil to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a Werkvoorbereider Civil, you will be responsible for the entire work preparation of one or more projects, acting as a link between the office and on-site execution teams. You will support the project manager, who is responsible for the project, in their tasks and ensure that the project is executed according to plan, budget, and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Inkoop: You will be responsible for selecting and evaluating suppliers, requesting quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process.
- Planning: You will create and manage project plans, coordinate with the project team, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- PMP and Work Plans: You will develop project-specific quality plans, risk management plans, and work plans, and ensure that they are aligned with the project manager's plan.
- Risk Management: You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the project, working closely with the project manager and the project team.
- Project Documentation: You will create and maintain project documentation, including project maps, technical drawings, and other relevant documents.
- General Support: You will provide general support to the project manager, including advising on project execution, planning, and procurement.
- A completed civil engineering or construction management degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with project management software, such as IFS, and a strong understanding of procurement processes.
- Ability to travel internationally, with a valid passport and any necessary visas.
