Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Automation to oversee the automation engineering aspect of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing robust work breakdown structures and leading a team of (Senior) Automation Engineers to ensure timely delivery and quality output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain work breakdown structures for automation engineering projects
  • Lead a team of (Senior) Automation Engineers to ensure timely delivery and quality output
  • Develop and implement effective resource allocation strategies
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Conduct design checks and reviews to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Purchase department to analyze technical offers
  • Monitor and control project budgets to ensure financial stability
  • Coordinate technical support and commissioning activities to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure compliance with class and customer specifications

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in designing electrical & automation systems in shipbuilding, offshore, or industrial installations
  • Experience in large project environments with high complexity
  • Leadership experience with engineering teams
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Project Management skills
  • Familiarity with class-regulated products and Good Engineering Practices
  • Excellent English language skills, German proficiency is advantageous
  • Permanent EU citizenship required
