Lead Mechanical Engineer

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers in the Mechanical Engineering R&D department, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and implement creative solutions.
  • Drive the development of innovative products, leveraging expertise in mechanical engineering.
  • Compete in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the company's growth targets.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industrial partners, knowledge centers, and universities to support product development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with experience in design principles of mechanical system development.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex mechanical engineering projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
