We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Policy Specialist to join our team at ABN Amro. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing expert advice on policy and regulatory matters.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is €120,000, including a comprehensive benefits package that includes five weeks of vacation, personal development budget, and an excellent pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and policies;
  • Providing expert advice on policy and regulatory matters;
  • Analyzing business impact following upcoming regulations;
  • Monitoring existing implemented regulation in the context of latest interpretation and/or supervisory expectations;
  • Informing stakeholders on upcoming regulatory impact and preparing for regulatory committees;
  • Regular interaction with external parties to stay informed on regulatory developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Credit/Lending/Risk and Prudential Regulation;
  • In-depth knowledge of Prudential Regulation, legislative procedures, regulatory affairs and policies;
  • Strong communication & stakeholder skills (both written and verbal);
  • Ability to identify key linkages and overlaps between topics and ensure alignment amongst them;
  • Fluency in English and/or Dutch (both written and verbal).
