About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Yacht, working closely with Siemens on the development of prefabricated modular substations for the international data center industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the technical design, factory testing, and commissioning of modular substations.
  • Collaborate with customers, factories, and other Siemens departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Verify electrical distribution systems design and coordinate interfaces with customers.
  • Investigate and advise on technical issues, including layouts, components, cabling selection, termination kits, earthing, and grounding.
  • Write assembly and commissioning plans, and lead test work on site and in factories.
  • Plan and oversee the progress of factory operations and resolve technical remaining issues.
  • Place orders and estimate commercial impact for additional work performed.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the data center industry.
  • Strong knowledge of LV, MV, Trafo, and construction procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
What We Offer
  • A gross monthly salary of up to €5400.
  • A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically.
  • 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries.

Working with Yacht and Siemens

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year.
