We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Stayokay Vondelpark and Stadsdoelen. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our 564 beds across 126 rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the hostel.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve housekeeping operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Collaborate with the facility team to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control inventory and supplies to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
