About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Category Senior Buyer for Capex Packaging to join our team at Danone. As a key member of our End-to-End Packaging & Manufacturing organization, you will be responsible for managing a significant portion of our global Capex spend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Capex packaging sourcing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and drives cost savings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with our procurement policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize Capex packaging projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement a supplier engagement strategy, including Best Cost Country supplier engagement.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in procurement and a deep understanding of manufacturing technologies, particularly packaging technologies. You should have a proven track record of driving cost savings and improving procurement processes.

Key qualifications include:

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing technologies, particularly packaging technologies.
  • Experience with Best Cost Country supplier engagement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
