Project Manager Mechanical Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Mechanical Engineering to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for managing engineering projects and teams, ensuring the successful delivery of our vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Manage engineering teams and projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery;
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and project teams;
- Develop and maintain engineering processes and procedures;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules;
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues;
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders;
- Provide regular project updates and reports to management;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in the maritime industry;
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks;
- Proficiency in software packages such as AutoCAD and Nupas-Cadmatic;
- Fluency in English, with Dutch a plus;
