Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CAD technician to join our team. As a CAD technician, you will work on a wide range of projects involving fender systems for ships and other maritime applications. You will be responsible for drawing and modeling fender systems, using Rhinoceros 7 software, and collaborating with our production team to ensure the successful implementation of your designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop fender systems for ships and other maritime applications
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the successful implementation of your designs
- Use Rhinoceros 7 software to create detailed drawings and models of fender systems
- Contribute to the creative and development process of fender systems
- Prepare calculations and quotations for fender systems
- Plan and prepare folders for fender production
- Check the quality of produced fender systems
- Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective project execution
Requirements
- Senior vocational education in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, construction, or a related field
- Ample experience in 3D drawing with Rhinoceros 7 software
- Experience with calculating and drawing up quotations is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
- Thorough knowledge of technical drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
- Experience in marine engineering and with AutoCAD is preferred
