Hunkemöller is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that values passion, energy, and performance. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Financial Director to join our team.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of €120,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Strategic Financial Director, you will be responsible for leading our financial strategy and driving business growth. Your main tasks and areas of responsibilities will be:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Leading a small team of financial analysts and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Preparing and analyzing management information to inform business decisions.
  • Managing and controlling the country organizations' internal information and preparing external reporting.
  • Coordinating with Deloitte and internal teams for a timely and efficient audit process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified accountant background, preferably from a big four accounting firm, to senior manager level.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience as a financial controller in an international and fast-moving company.
  • Experience in a private equity environment, Retail experience would be preferred.
  • Background as an auditor and experience in IFRS reporting is a must.
  • Senior attitude when it comes to structure priorities, deadlines, and targets within the team.
  • Results-oriented and highly analytical.
  • Excellent and professional internal and external communication skills.
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).
