About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Zoetermeer. As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design, testing, and commissioning of prefabricated modular substations for the international data center industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of minimum 2 engineers in the technical design, factory testing, and commissioning of modular substations
  • Liaise with customers, factories, and other Siemens departments to ensure smooth project execution
  • Perform engineering work in the office/home, including verifying electrical distribution systems design and coordinating interfaces with customers
  • Pick up technical issues, investigate, and advise on layouts, components, cabling selection, termination kits, earthing & grounding, etc.
  • Write assembly and commissioning plans, and lead test work on site and in our factories
  • Plan and oversee the progress of factory operations and resolve technical remaining issues
  • Place orders and learn to estimate commercial impact for additional work performed
  • Collaborate with an experienced lead engineer
What We Offer
  • A gross monthly salary of up to €5400
  • A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
  • 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries
  • Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
  • 5% ADV allowance
  • Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
  • 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours
  • Travel allowance
  • Internet allowance
  • Home office allowance

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year.
