Role:

The Quantitative Researcher will be part of our global quantitative strategies team, responsible for generating cutting-edge research to drive alpha generation and sustainability approaches. This role requires a strong background in quantitative research, with a focus on data acquisition, statistical analysis, and effective communication of findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct empirical research in global financial markets, with a focus on sustainability data
  • Apply machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to create applied signal research, portfolio construction research, and backtesting of new investment strategies
  • Identify and develop new investment ideas or opportunities
  • Exercise sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in finance, economics, data science, mathematics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of quantitative research experience
  • Strong knowledge of established asset pricing and factor anomaly literature
  • Ability to quickly master new applications and tools to evolve the capabilities of the quantitative platform
  • Understanding of AI techniques and skillset to apply them in an investment context
