We are seeking a Senior Quantitative User Researcher to join our Amsterdam-based Global Digital User Research team at adidas. As a member of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in informing cross-functional stakeholders and developing high-quality product solutions.

Our Global Digital User Research team focuses on exploring users' intents, needs, expectations, and desires to provide valid, reliable, and objective insights for our teams. We strive for certainty in decision-making and action-taking.

About the Role

You will work closely with Digital Product Directors, UX Design Directors, and fellow qualitative user researchers to guide every step of the product development process through consumer insights. Your scope will include generative and exploratory research, evaluative research, and data analysis.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end execution of primarily large-scale quantitative user research projects, including planning, research design, fieldwork, data analysis, reporting, and embedding into the organization.
  • Become a thought partner for senior stakeholders, advising on research roadmaps, methodologies, and collaboration models.
  • Collaborate with qualitative researchers to integrate quantitative insights with qualitative findings, ensuring robust data triangulation and comprehensive analysis.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve adidas' product solutions iteratively to make them more valuable to our users.
  • Extract design, digital, and ecommerce trends and apply the findings to experience design concepts to optimize value for consumers and the company.
  • Communicate research findings to audiences from various seniority levels through written reports, verbal presentations, and workshop facilitation.
  • Ongoing mentoring of junior (quantitative) researchers from the User research team.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled user researcher with a strong awareness of research merits and weaknesses. You should have experience leading hands-on, primary quantitative research projects, including survey writing and scale development, and data analysis. A master's degree or higher in social sciences or a related field is required.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience researching global products or services.
  • Enthusiasm about optimizing research operations.
  • Experience with qualitative and mixed-methods research.

You should be proactive in engaging stakeholders to ensure impactful execution and delivery of your research projects. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential, along with the ability to tell compelling stories that drive solutions forward.

Salary Range

We offer an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
