Context

The Product Owner for Infrastructure Platforms works closely with stakeholders and one or two teams to develop and maintain a range of infrastructure products and platforms used for the Product Software Development Environments.

Key responsibilities include managing stakeholders at the agile release train level and line management level, as well as collaborating with other Product Owners and the 'Leading Coalition' (Release Train Engineer, Chief Product Owner, System Architect).

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree with significant experience in engineering or IT
  • Comprehensive experience as Product Owner and working at tactical level
  • Understanding of business context, ownership, Minimal Viable Product thinking, and long-term planning
  • Good infrastructure product/domain knowledge
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of complex software development processes
ResponsibilitiesVision and Roadmap

Develops a long-term vision and roadmap, translating stakeholder and team needs into PI objectives and Iteration goals.

Stakeholder Management

Effectively communicates with stakeholders on their needs and concerns, aligning with stakeholders on vision, content, and prioritization.

Healthy Backlog Management

Maintains an economic view on the long-term team backlog to meet objectives, challenging guardrails while balancing high-impact, early feedback, and low cost over time.
