MODIFI GmbH is a pioneering fintech company revolutionizing global trade payments. We're seeking an exceptional VP Compliance to spearhead our compliance efforts and drive our mission to reshape the world of international trade.

Your Impact
  • Improve MODIFI's anti-money laundering, sanctions, and CTF framework to ensure seamless and secure transactions.
  • Develop innovative solutions to enhance the onboarding and trading experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with the Risk team to minimize fraud risk exposure and identify patterns of suspected sanctions avoidance or money laundering.
  • Contribute to strategic processes, such as Fintech partnerships, debt and equity financing, and audit processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in FinCrime Compliance (AML/CTF/Sanctions) in the financial industry, with a recent accreditation (e.g., ACAMS).
  • Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the broader compliance environment.
  • Proven experience in identifying and implementing process improvements for a smooth onboarding and transaction experience.
  • Domain expertise in AML/CTF, including CDD, TM, risk assessments, UAR/SAR reporting, and a good knowledge of the Dutch and EU AML and Sanctions framework.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop a highly scalable Compliance framework that relies on technology.
