Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Patheon Softgels, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network, coordinating production activities, and optimizing processes to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Collaborate with production to plan customer orders, taking into account scheduling restrictions, optimal batch sizes, and raw material availability.
  • Raw Materials Purchasing: Source and procure raw materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Order Management: Enter customer orders into the ERP system, ensuring accurate quantities, prices, and delivery dates.
  • Shipment Coordination: Prepare shipping documents and invoices for customer orders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
