Event Manager Role Overview

Intralox is seeking a skilled Event Manager to lead the Industrial Business Unit's event strategy and manage the full cycle of on-site, off-site, and digital events. As a key representative of the company, you will act as a brand ambassador, showcasing our unique company culture and values in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and lead the Business Unit's event strategy, including budget management and KPIs.
  2. Plan, execute, and analyze in-person, online, and hybrid events, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to define goals, manage speakers, budgets, and promotional strategies.
  4. Coordinate communication and logistics between on-site and off-site teams for seamless event execution.
  5. Align stakeholders, vendors, and event teams to deliver high-quality events with maximum ROI.
  6. Build and manage vendor relationships, including budgeting, negotiation, and compliance.
  7. Monitor event metrics in real-time to optimize outcomes and create post-event reports that capture key insights and performance.
  8. Stay informed on event industry trends and collaborate with teams to continuously refine event strategies.

Requirements

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field, and 5+ years of strategic experience in Event Management or Marketing Communications, ideally within a B2B environment. You should have exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead successful, high-impact events. Additionally, you should be tech-savvy, with experience using event technology platforms and digital tools to enhance event experiences. Data-driven mindset, with expertise in using metrics to guide real-time decisions and assess event performance post-event, is also required. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, creative problem-solving skills, and strong negotiation skills are also essential. Finally, excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and pitch ideas confidently, are necessary for this role.
