Job Summary
The Sr. Solution Manager will utilize technical skills to research vertical-based customer solutions, create aggressive go-to-market plans, manage development of products with cross-functional teams, and develop product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales teams for business development and solution offering.
- Grow, expand, and accelerate business growth and drive Supermicro's vision and goals.
- Engage in proactive pre-sales and post-sales activities to build customer confidence and trust.
- Position Supermicro solutions and enable coverage to new and existing customers.
- Define, track, and report on key business metrics and market responses.
- Drive sales and customer engagement to new areas and territories.
- Influence sales and customers for making right decisions and provide needed guidance.
- Excellent presentation and public-facing skills for representing the company at the highest level.
Requirements
- 10+ years of direct experience in computing hardware/Solutions with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability for organization goals.
- 5+ years in Solution development, marketing, and business strategy for Total solutions and deployment.
- Proven quantitative, analytical, customer-facing, and technical skills.
- Self-starter and high motivation to excel and succeed.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
- Superior communication and teamwork skills; fluency in oral and written English is a must.
- Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
- BSEE/CS or equivalent; MSEE is desirable.
