About Siemens Industry Software

We are a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across various industries. Our software is used in the development of complex products such as Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, and space exploration vehicles.

As a Presales Consultant, you will provide technical support for our Capital Integrated Electrical Systems Development product line and contribute to the success of our team of product specialists and account managers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver expertise in the application of the Capital portfolio to customers in the EMEA region.
  • Specialize in Electrical and Harness Design, understanding and contributing to the strategy of the Capital solution in different markets.
  • Assist clients in the evaluation process, helping sales teams determine strategies by matching our software solutions to the customer's needs.
  • Perform demonstrations of the solution and provide technical support to customers through training and technical problem-solving.
  • Work with product development to communicate the needs of the customer to develop new technology and enhancements to the Capital solution.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers.
  • Presales experience is not essential, but industry experience (e.g., Electrical Engineer, Harness Engineer) and a self-starter/sales-oriented approach are desirable.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels, including project and department leaders, and executives/C-level.
  • Ability to deliver compelling, well-structured, value-based demonstrations.
  • Experience with Electrical Design software, such as Capital, Capital Essentials, Saber ES Designer, Zuken E3.series, Vector PREEvision.
  • Experience with Mechanical CAD products (preferably Siemens NX, CATIA V5, 3DX, SolidEdge, or Solidworks) is an advantage.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defence, Automotive, or Heavy Equipment sectors is an advantage.
