To achieve this, we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support our operations in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting, financial planning, and cost accounting analysis, providing financial support to operational activities and strategic plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support Abbott Product Operation Manufacturing Europe in planning and updating operations.
- Provide financial analysis and support to business units in various fields.
- Develop and maintain standard cost settings and related analyses.
- Calculate and analyze monthly manufacturing variances.
- Reconcile consigned inventory between Abbott and Third Party Manufacturers and resolve variances.
- Handle month and year-closings, including analysis of variances in the Profit and Loss accounts.
- Support monthly loss and profit result meetings with management and headquarters.
- Identify and financially coordinate inventory on risk in collaboration with colleagues in multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate and perform annual inventory counts at Third Party Manufacturers.
- Conduct business in accordance with applicable procedures and compliance requirements.
- Analyze balances between accounts.
- Implement various ad hoc analyses.
- Bachelor's degree in the economic field and relevant work experience.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work in virtual multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, with excellent proficiency in Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate within the finance department and with business managers, senior managers, and employees at the TPM.
