Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary between €40,000 - €50,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, paid pregnancy and maternity leave, partially paid parental leave, and a year-end bonus of 8.3% and annual vacation pay of 8%. We also provide an excellent technical infrastructure, on-campus children's day care, and sports facilities.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Energy Systems Developer to join our Electrical Energy Systems group at Eindhoven University of Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing an IoT platform for assessing the value and profitability of flexibility services in multi-energy systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge in Data structure and analysis, Algorithm, Communication technology, and experience in Platform integration.
- Strong competence in optimization, and complexity theory.
- Excellent relevant modeling skills in Python.
- A design-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a team and interested in collaborating with industrial partners.
- An academic attitude in order to develop new technologies and perform applied research with an integral view on what is needed for the future energy system.
- An excellent command of the English language, both in speaking and writing.
- Willingness to start as soon as possible;
