Logistics Scheduler

Objective:
The individuals in this role are tasked with the logistics coordination, oversight, and execution of processes related to global fleet management and resource allocation, which includes:

• Strategic Planning & Oversight.
• Transportation & Storage Management.
• Comprehensive Logistics Optimization.
• Formulating transport schedules, methodologies, and routes.
• Cargo planning and strategies aimed at enhancing depot and logistics service center efficiency.
• Evaluating and forecasting transportation expenses.
• Facilitating customs clearances and necessary permits.
• Addressing capacity challenges and production site decisions to align with business objectives.

Responsibility Level:
This position is suited for entry-level professionals or those with significant experience in operations, technical, or support roles. Candidates typically possess higher education qualifications or have acquired expert operational knowledge through extensive practical experience. This role serves as the primary point of escalation for non-standard situations and includes providing guidance and training to junior staff members.

Core Duties:

• Managing the mobilization and demobilization of equipment and materials to various project sites, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted and relevant systems and databases are updated.
• Ensuring accurate documentation for import and export processes concerning all materials and associated equipment, in coordination with relevant authorities as needed.
• Overseeing the administration of required cargo and driver documentation and certifications.
• Responsible for the collection and delivery of equipment to and from client locations.
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with all transport suppliers to meet operational requirements.
• Generating relevant performance monitoring metrics regarding On Time In Full and transport recoveries.
• Identifying appropriate equipment to meet contract specifications.
• Ensuring adherence to Aggreko's operational procedures, including compliance with ISO and Internal/External/PLC Audits.
• Upholding strict compliance with Aggreko's QHSE policies and practices.
• Providing expert advice to employees as necessary.

Typical Qualifications:
A University Degree, Specialized Diploma, or Vocational Training is preferred.
