Logistics Scheduler

Objective:
The role of the position is to oversee logistics planning, management, and execution of processes related to global fleet operations, including:

• Strategic Planning & Oversight.
• Transportation & Storage Management.
• Comprehensive Logistics Optimization.
• Formulating transport schedules, methodologies, and routes.
• Cargo organization and strategies aimed at enhancing depot and logistics service center efficiency.
• Evaluating and forecasting transportation expenditures.
• Facilitating customs clearances and necessary permits.
• Addressing capacity challenges and making production location decisions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibility Level:
This position is suited for entry-level professionals or seasoned experts in operations, technical, or support roles. Typically requires higher education or specialized qualifications, along with substantial operational knowledge gained through extensive experience. Acts as the first point of contact for non-standard situations and provides guidance and training to junior staff.

Primary Duties:

• Management of mobilization and demobilization processes, ensuring the delivery of equipment and materials to various project sites while maintaining accurate documentation and updating relevant systems.
• Guaranteeing proper documentation for import and export activities concerning all materials and associated equipment, in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Administration of necessary cargo and driver documentation and certifications.
• Overseeing the collection and delivery of equipment to and from client locations.
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with all transport suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Generating pertinent performance monitoring data regarding On Time In Full and transport recoveries.
• Identifying appropriate equipment to meet contract specifications.
• Ensuring adherence to Aggreko's procedures, including ISO, internal, external, and PLC audits.
• Consistently upholding Aggreko's QHSE policies and practices.
• Providing expert advice to employees as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
University Degree, Specialized Diploma, or Vocational Training.
