Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Leader to join our team at Cross Border Talents. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex software modules and machines, working closely with colleagues from other disciplines and strategic customers in a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of software modules and machines, ensuring they meet the required quality and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that all team members have access to up-to-date information.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Informatics or a technically oriented field, with experience in an equivalent environment.
  • Experience with high-tech complex machine control and real-time software and operating systems.
  • Experience with independently designing and delivering software modules.
  • Experience with Agile software development.
  • Knowledge of C, C++, C#, and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Configuration Management processes.
  • Good command of the English language, spoken and written.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Maintain an overview of multiple projects and priorities.
  • Communicative and proactive attitude.
