This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the financial operations of a rapidly expanding company in the Netherlands. As Country Finance Manager Netherlands, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial services, including complex accounting duties, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting data and financial reports.
The successful candidate will have thorough understanding of production processes, transactions, and financial outcomes. They will work closely with the Consolidation, Reporting & Corporate Governance Specialist to consolidate the Prothya Group's financial data.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform month-end account closing activities and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and record all transactions.
- Take care of tax compliance, including tax preparation and filing activities.
- Ensure internal controls, manage MI reporting, and collaborate with auditors.
- Work closely with FP&A to explain deviations from budget and forecast.
- Support auditors during internal and external audits.
- Prepare cash flow statements, management reports, and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Analyze data in collaboration with the Corporate Controller/Manager Accounting.
You are an experienced financial professional with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a healthy dose of ownership and entrepreneurship. You can motivate your colleagues and have a proactive attitude.
In addition:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in similar positions.
- Knowledge of tax legislation, financial administrations, administrative guidelines, and procedures.
- Good command of Dutch and English language.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
