About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Industrialization Engineer to join our EUV System Industrialization Performance team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving better availability performance via reliability and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of System Reliability/Availability with focus on root cause, impact, and solution.
  • Definition of diagnostics solutions or improvement of existing ones to enable optimal Mean Time To Detect (MTTD).
  • Drive for solutions in cooperation with the sectors and development projects.
  • Ensure data quality is maintained for accurate availability predictions.
  • Actively work together with development engineering and sectors in identifying opportunities and risk for our future product to meet availability specifications.
Requirements
  • Technical Master of Science in a relevant field (e.g., Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering).
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment.
  • Familiarity with design architecture and/or service processes.
  • Experience in or affinity with the machine industry (production environment is a strong plus).
  • Broad knowledge of software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure, and customer support.
  • Able to shape new designs via critical availability areas.
  • Able to work in time- and/or budget-driven project environments.

  • Able to manage a wide variety of stakeholders and to influence without power.
  • Team player who can also act independently with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Highly self-propelling individual who can manage ambiguity and build new connections easily.

  • Must have knowledge or experience with EUV Optics or Scanner.
  • Curious about current and future ASML EUV products, willing to learn, and eager to explore other areas of machine design and industrialization.
  • Has experience or is familiar with Availability engineering and other aspects of industrialization.
  • Is able to diagnose factory and field issues related to the wafer handler and the wafer stage and its measurement systems or our new products.
  • Able to formulate accurate problem descriptions, drive improvements, and is critical in verifying and validating the improvements with tests.
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset, bringing back technical feedback to internal stakeholders of current projects, and using this knowledge to affect the future new designs.
  • Takes end-to-end ownership, tries to explore solutions, and resolve bottlenecks with stakeholders.
