About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrialization Performance Engineer to join our EUV System Industrialization Performance team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving better availability performance via reliability and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze system reliability and availability with a focus on root cause, impact, and solution.
  • Define diagnostics solutions or improve existing ones to enable optimal Mean Time To Detect (MTTD).
  • Collaborate with sectors and development projects to drive solutions.
  • Ensure data quality is maintained for accurate availability predictions.
  • Work with development engineering and sectors to identify opportunities and risks for future products to meet availability specifications.

Requirements

  • Technical Master of Science in a relevant field (e.g., Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering).
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment.
  • Familiarity with design architecture and/or service processes.
  • Experience in or affinity with the machine industry (production environment is a strong plus).
  • Broad knowledge of software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure, and customer support.
  • Able to shape new designs via critical availability areas.
  • Able to work in time- and/or budget-driven project environments.

  • Curious about current and future ASML EUV products, willing to learn, and eager to explore other areas of machine design and industrialization.
  • Experience or familiarity with Availability engineering and other aspects of industrialization.
  • Able to diagnose factory and field issues related to the wafer handler and the wafer stage and its measurement systems or our new products.
  • Able to formulate accurate problem descriptions, drive improvements, and verify and validate improvements with tests.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, bringing back technical feedback to internal stakeholders of current projects, and using this knowledge to affect future new designs.
  • End-to-end ownership, exploring solutions, and resolving bottlenecks with stakeholders.
