System Industrialization Engineer

Within the EUV System Industrialization Performance team, you will be assigned to a specific function or group of functions of the system and multiple projects. Your primary objective will be to drive better availability performance via reliability and diagnostics. You will provide insight into current issues, steer projects to determine what to solve, and assess the impact of solutions together with the project team. Additionally, you will influence the solution direction of expert teams, serving as a link between customer support, development engineering, and the industrialization department. This role is crucial for one of ASML's most important KPIs (availability).
Main Responsibilities- Analyze system reliability and availability, focusing on root cause, impact, and solution.
- Define diagnostics solutions or improve existing ones to enable optimal Mean Time To Detect (MTTD).
- Collaborate with sectors and development projects to drive solutions.
- Ensure data quality is maintained for accurate availability predictions.
- Work closely with development engineering and sectors to identify opportunities and risks for future products to meet availability specifications.
Technical Master of Science in a relevant field (e.g., Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering).
Minimum 3 years of work experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment.
Familiarity with design architecture and/or service processes.
Experience in or affinity with the machine industry (production environment is a strong plus).
Broad knowledge of software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure, and customer support.
Able to shape new designs via critical availability areas.
Able to work in time- and/or budget-driven project environments.
Skills- Organization, flexibility, and capability to communicate on all levels.
- Able to manage a wide variety of stakeholders and influence without power.
- Team player who can also act independently with a high degree of autonomy.
- Highly self-propelling individual who can manage ambiguity and build new connections easily.
- Pro-active mindset, entrepreneur.
- Must have knowledge or experience with EUV Optics or Scanner.
- Curious about current and future ASML EUV products, willing to learn, and eager to explore other areas of machine design and industrialization.
- Has experience or is familiar with Availability engineering and other aspects of industrialization.
- Able to diagnose factory and field issues related to the wafer handler and the wafer stage and its measurement systems or our new products.
- Able to formulate accurate problem descriptions, drive improvements, and is critical in verifying and validating the improvements with tests.
- Has a continuous improvement mindset, bringing back technical feedback to internal stakeholders of current projects, and using this knowledge to affect the future new designs.
- Takes end-to-end ownership, tries to explore solutions, and resolve bottlenecks with stakeholders.
