Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our corporate finance team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential target investment companies, conducting thorough research, and analyzing financial implications of mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively identify and assess potential target investment companies
  • Conduct thorough research on selected target companies, including financial modeling, strategic, and competitor analysis
  • Analysis, preparation, and drafting of presentations, company profiles, market and sector reports, information memorandums, and transaction documentation
  • Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities
  • Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements
  • Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions
  • Conduct valuation analysis
Requirements
  • Effective team player with strong communication skills, tenacity, and market research skills
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentational, adaptability, and time management skills
  • Strong academics, with a completed university degree in fields such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a science study with financial affinity
  • Previous experience with exposure to transactions from within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Consulting, or Private Equity
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
