Senior Scrum Master

Job Description:
As a Senior Scrum Master at GeekSoft Consulting, you will be responsible for helping design, build, and continuously improve our clients' online platforms. You will research, suggest, and implement new technology solutions following best practices and standards. Your responsibilities will also include taking care of the resiliency and availability of different products and being a productive member of the team.
Requirements:
As a Senior Scrum Master, your key responsibilities will include ensuring the team delivers solutions that meet the PI objectives. You will identify and resolve risks, operational dependencies, and obstacles, or escalate them appropriately. You will provide insights into team maturity, predictability, progress, and performance while ensuring the quality of deliverables. You will drive continuous improvement in company processes and practices based on Agile principles. You will facilitate effective team rituals and contribute to a high-performing team environment. You will actively participate in the Community of Practice (CoP) as opportunities arise. You will collaborate with the Product Owner, Chief Product Owner (SAFe Product Manager), and Release Train Engineer to manage changes in the backlog and scope. You will support the formation and success of new teams in a dynamic environment as team structures evolve.
Essential Skills:
You will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree with significant experience in engineering or IT, plus over 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master (15+ years total). You will need a proven ability to operate at a tactical level. You will need a deep understanding of iterative development principles, with experience teaching others. You will need a strong background in team-building and facilitation, adept at removing roadblocks. You will need initiative-driven, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. You will need highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. You will need exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will need detail-oriented with a systematic approach. You will need practical, flexible, and committed to delivering quality. You will need ambitious and proactive, with strong planning and prioritization abilities. You will need able to consider the end-customer's perspective when making decisions.

You will need relevant Agile certifications, including Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). Certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is required.
