Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our team in Eindhoven, Netherlands. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of solutions to achieve PI objectives committed by the team, while fostering a high-performing team culture and contributing to the Community of Practice (CoP). You will work closely with the Product Owner, Chief Product Owner (SAFe Product Manager), and Release Train Engineer to handle changes in backlog and scope. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, team building, and facilitation will be essential in driving team success and relentless improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of solutions to achieve PI objectives committed by the team
- Identify and resolve risks, operational dependencies, and impediments, escalating as necessary
- Provide insights and transparency on team maturity, predictability, progress, performance, and quality of value delivered
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Agile mindset and principles
- Ensure effective team rituals and contribute to the Train
- Enable a High Performing Team and contribute to the Community of Practice (CoP)
- Collaborate with Product Owner, Chief Product Owner (SAFe Product Manager), and Release Train Engineer to handle changes in backlog and scope
- Support the expansion and formation of new teams, ensuring their success in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or IT with substantial experience as a Scrum Master (5+ years) and overall experience of 15 years+
- Proven experience working at a tactical level with extensive knowledge of iterative development fundamentals
- Strong team building and facilitation skills, with the ability to remove roadblocks and drive team success
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated team player with good social skills, strong service/customer orientation, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to plan, set priorities, and think practically about the impact of decisions on end-customers/users.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies, with working knowledge of SAFe and Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO).
- Certifications: Working knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is a must.
- Excellent coaching skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
