Job Title: Import Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import Logistics Coordinator to join our team at BDP International. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, booking, and transporting ocean import orders, as well as coordinating and following up on shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and book ocean import orders, ensuring timely and efficient transportation
  • Coordinate and follow up on shipments, including customs processing and documentation
  • Manage order processing, including invoicing and filing
  • Provide feedback to customers through various means, including mail, phone, and EDI
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, and report non-conformances in accordance with KPIs
  • Collaborate with approved subcontractors to ensure seamless end-to-end processing
  • Ensure punctual and flawless order handling and documentation

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience handling ocean import shipments
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service environment
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
