Doel van de functie

Het verrichten van de douaneformaliteiten voor in, - door- en uitvoer van goederen.

Werkzaamheden:

Douaneformaliteiten

Vervaardigt alle voorkomende douaneaangiftes voor (grensoverschrijdend) vervoer conform wettelijke voorschriften. Stelt dossierinstructies op voor het juist afhandelen van import/export transacties en bijbehorende documenten. Verzamelt aanvullende informatie ten behoeve van douane technische en fiscale aangiften. Signaleert onregelmatigheden op douanegebied Biedt de Douane douanedocumenten aan ter controle. Onderhoudt contacten met de Douane betreffende verzoeken met betrekking tot het verkrijgen van speciaal tarief invoerrechten en andere voorkomende belastingtechnische aangelegenheden. Dient, indien van toepassing, bezwaarschriften, BTI (Bindende Tarief Inlichting) aanvragen en aanzuiveringen in en voert eventuele andere voorkomende correspondentie met de Douane uit. Stelt, indien van toepassing, verzoekschriften (voor onder andere teruggave, vrijstellingen, vergissingen) op, dient deze gemotiveerd bij de douane in. Werkt samen met operationele afdelingen voor een optimale dienstverlening aan de klant voor wat betreft de afhandeling van douaneformaliteiten. Streeft naar een juiste en tijdige afhandeling van douaneformaliteiten

Adviserende functie

Klanten en intern belanghebbenden informeren over operationele douaneaangelegenheden.

Beantwoordt vragen van klanten en adviseert hen in zake operationele douaneaangelegenheden. Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements

Functievereisten

Minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring als Declarant Afgeronde declarantenopleiding Ervaring met geautomatiseerd aangiftesysteem voor zowel invoer- uitvoer- als transitoaangiften Goede kennis van moderne softwareapplicaties (zoals Ms-office) Ervaring met werken in de zeevrachtexpeditie Pro-actief in voorkomen van fouten en verbeteren van processen. Goede Nederlandse en Engelse uitdrukkingsvaardigheid in woord en geschrift voor het opstellen van douanedocumenten. Sociale vaardigheden voor het onderhouden van interne en externe contacten op operationeel vlak. Nauwkeurigheid bij het verwerken van gegevens en het opstellen van aangiftes. Analytisch vermogen voor het toepassen van reglementen en het opstellen van bezwaarschriften. Servicegerichte instelling voor het beantwoorden van vragen. Representatief in het contact met de klant.
