Optimizing Light Management in Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells Researcher
3 weken geleden
Project Overview
The goal of this project is to optimize light management in perovskite tandem solar cells. This involves designing and optimizing metallo-dielectric back reflector geometries to scatter and redirect light in specially tailored ways, allowing for efficient light trapping without compromising the perovskite-silicon interface.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize metallo-dielectric back reflector geometries for efficient light trapping
- Investigate specially tailored microstructures on the surface of the solar cell for passive radiative cooling
- Collaborate with the research team to develop a high-efficiency perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell
Requirements
- MSc degree in physics or equivalent qualification
- Strong background in physics, chemistry, materials science, or engineering
- Keen interest in solar cells and light management
Working Conditions
- Full-time appointment (40 hours/week, 12 months/year) in the service of NWO-I
- Starting salary 2,781 Euros gross per month and a range of employment benefits
- PhD degree granted at a Dutch University upon successful completion of the project
