About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at syncreon America Inc. as a key member of our Finance and Financial Control team. As a Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the financial management of our Dutch operations, ensuring the establishment of our Financial Shared Service Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a sizeable team of approximately 14 FTEs, consisting of Accountants and Financial Controllers, mainly located in Tilburg.
  • Manage the general ledger of various entities, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, tax, and local protocols, including legal requirements and interpretation of new and existing legislation.
  • Supervise account reconciliations, reporting to necessary stakeholders, and participate in external audits.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of accounting processes and automation of administrative processes, participating in upgrading our ERP systems.
  • Possess the drive and ability to support significant development of an integrated Business Intelligence system (Qlik & BPC).

Requirements

  • Masters' degree in Finance or Economics, with extensive knowledge on compliance and accounting.
  • 5-10 years relevant managerial working experience in accounting within an international and complex environment.
  • Excellent experience with IFRS, USGAAP, and local GAAP, as well as knowledge of local taxes (i.e., CIT, VAT, and Wage Tax).
  • Fluent proficiency in both Dutch and English language (verbally and in writing) is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships and influence stakeholders within all departments and levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office package, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience in SAP, BPC, and Power-BI would be advantageous.
  • Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • Based and authorized to work in the Netherlands with the ability to work on-site in our Tilburg office.
