Warranty Claims Specialist

MSX International is seeking a skilled Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our Back Office Warranty Claim Assessors Team, you will be responsible for assessing and validating warranty claims submitted by our Lotus After-Sales network.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering, with a focus on drives or master craftsman/workshop manager/master technician experience. You will be responsible for managing the relationship with workshop technicians and managers, as well as providing expert advice on warranty management and local consumer laws.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing warranty claims in a timely manner from a technical and administrative perspective
- Explaining the reason for return/correction/rejection in writing
- Preparing, reviewing, and updating warranty bulletins
- Raising debit notes/invoices to workshops for excessive/unjustified payments
- Supporting the LCE training department on staff training in the workshop network
- Providing prior authorization on warranty repairs for specific repairs
- Alerting the warranty manager on recurring incidents and claiming issues
- Supporting dealers in the claiming process
- Preparing activity reports
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Fluency in German (min. C1 level)
- Very good communication skills in English
- Expertise in managing relationships with workshop technicians and managers
- Expertise in warranty management, familiar with local consumer laws and customers' rights
- Previous experience in a similar job for an OEM
- Expertise in ICE and BEV vehicles and their components
- Advanced knowledge of diagnosis tools and reports
- Excellent knowledge of electrical diagrams
- Automotive experience with a technical background (3-5 years)
