Warranty Claims Specialist

Job Summary:
MSX International is seeking a skilled Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. As a Warranty Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for processing warranty claims in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims from a technical and administrative perspective
- Explain the reason for return, correction, or rejection of warranty claims in writing
- Prepare, review, and update warranty bulletins
- Raise debit notes or invoices to workshops for excessive or unjustified payments
- Support the LCE training department in training staff on warranty claiming procedures
- Provide prior authorization for warranty repairs
- Alert the warranty manager to recurring incidents and claiming issues
- Support dealers in the claiming process
- Prepare activity reports
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent, specializing in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
- Expertise in managing relationships with workshop technicians and managers
- Knowledge of warranty management, local consumer laws, and customer rights
- Previous experience in a similar role for an OEM
- Expertise in ICE and BEV vehicles and their components
- Advanced knowledge of diagnosis tools and reports
- Excellent knowledge of electrical diagrams
- Automotive experience with a technical background (3-5 years)
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in German (minimum C1 level)
- Very good communication skills in English
Working Conditions:
- 40 hours per week
- Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- Amsterdam-based
- Hybrid (50% home office, 50% office presence)
