About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Management Director to lead our data center construction projects in northern Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a safe, quality-first culture and ensuring that all applicable codes, standards, and good construction practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of project managers on multiple construction projects in northern Europe.
  • Manage and monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with building regulations.
  • Direct external vendors per project, including general contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc.
  • Contribute to establishing and maintaining high-value relationships with vendors.
  • Participate in training programs and ensure developing team skills.
  • Manage contract administration procedures, including generation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents and documentation.
  • Liaise with local authorities and relevant state agencies and departments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in construction, construction project management, and/or services engineering or with equivalent experience.
  • Proven years of experience in project and construction management, including critical infrastructure for data centers, pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout EMEA.
  • Customer focus and excellent soft skills.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with a creative approach to solving day-to-day delivery problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant statutory regulations and industry best practice.
  • Establishing project roadmaps and its verification.
  • Being decisive and persistent in closing out issues, keeping your promise.
  • Experienced in construction procurement methodologies.
  • MS Office, including MS Project, Excel, and Visio skills, and also applying additional Equinix platforms.
