About the Role

Trouw Nutrition is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Central Asia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, creating, and executing business opportunities in the region.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in growing a new business venture and establishing a sustainable foundation for the future. You will work closely with our Export Director to set objectives, strategies, and tactics, and will be responsible for growing and expanding existing businesses in the region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Lead negotiations and coordinate complex decision-making processes.
  • Customer Solutions: Identify and initiate innovative solutions to meet customer needs and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and build strong client relationships, ensuring continuity, ongoing representation, and profitability.
  • Competitive Monitoring: Monitor competitive activity in the region and formulate and communicate appropriate response strategies.
  • Marketing Coordination: Organize customized customer seminars and coordinate targeted marketing activities.

Qualification and Experience

  • Education: University education in Veterinary or Agriculture.
  • Sales Experience: Several years of sales and account management experience.
  • Value Selling: Experience with value selling and designing an account development strategy/plan.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Team Player: Strong negotiation, presentation, contractual, and legal skills.
  • Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of business environments and sales financials.
  • Energy and Enthusiasm: High level of energy, engagement, and enthusiasm.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel internationally 50% of the time.
